How it works
From licensed catalogue to the speaker in your branch — in four steps.
- 01
Pick your plan
Choose a plan and the packages that fit your venue. Your library fills from the licensed catalogue.
- 02
Schedule by daypart
Build playlists, place them on a weekly calendar and push the schedule to one branch or all of them.
- 03
Activate the player
Install Fatbox Player on the branch PC and enter its activation code. It syncs, caches and starts on schedule.
- 04
Every play reported
Each play is signed by the device and reported with its ISRC, ready for label and royalty reporting.
Product
Your brand's sound, controlled from one place.
A licensed catalogue
A song is published only with its ISRC, label and licensor on record — so every song you play can be accounted for.
Daypart scheduling
Mornings calm, lunch upbeat, evenings warm. A weekly calendar per branch, changed once and pushed everywhere.
A player that can't leak
Songs stay encrypted on disk and their keys are sealed to the PC's TPM chip. Copied files play nowhere else.
Keeps playing offline
The player caches the next day of music and stays licensed for up to 72 hours without internet.
Staff controls, your rules
Staff can pause and set the volume within the range you allow. No skipping, no music from personal phones.
Built for many branches
Brands, branches and team access by role — head office sets the sound, managers see their own stores.
The console
One console for every branch.
Plans, libraries, schedules, players and requests — managed from the browser.
Fatbox Player
Built for the counter PC.
Install once, enter the code from the console, and it runs the day by itself: the right playlist for each slot, smooth crossfades, and no repeats inside the window you set.
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with a TPM 2.0 chip
- Plays only inside your scheduled slots
- Keeps playing through internet outages, up to 72 hours
Let your guests pick the next song.
Guests scan the QR code on the table, browse the playlist that's on and request a song. Requests join the queue — but never more than two in a row, so the mood stays yours.
FAQ
Questions venues ask us
Is the music licensed for business use?
Every song in Fatbox is published only once its ISRC, label and licensor are on record, and every play at your venue is reported against it. Your plan covers the songs in your library for the branches on that plan.
What do I need to run the player?
A Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11 PC, 64-bit, with a TPM 2.0 chip, connected to your speakers and the internet. Most PCs made since 2017 have a TPM.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The player keeps the next day of music on the PC and stays licensed for up to 72 hours offline. Play reports wait on the PC and are sent when it reconnects.
Can staff change the music?
Staff can pause and adjust the volume within the range you set. They cannot skip songs or play music from outside your library.
Can I run many branches from one account?
Yes. Group branches under your brand, push one schedule to all of them, and give each manager access to their own stores only.
Can we play our own music too?
Yes. Point the player at a folder of your venue's own songs. Fatbox reads their details (never uploads the audio), and they play once they're added to your library within your plan's song limit.
How do guests request songs?
With the Fatbox app for Android and iPhone, coming soon: guests scan the QR code at your venue and request songs from the playlist that is on. You decide whether requests are allowed.
How much does Fatbox cost?
Plans depend on how many branches you have and how many songs each library holds. Book a demo and we will put together a plan for your venues.
